What is the difference between AR/VR/MR

AR or Augmented Reality adds digital elements to the real world using the camera of a smartphone or head mounted displays (glasses). In VR the experience is completely computer generated and the real world is not blended with digital content. Mixed Reality is an improvement of AR where the digital content and the real-world interact. Using MR-technologies we can map the digital content onto the correct physical location. At Vires we usually use AR instead of MR because MR is not known to the general public.

Facility management


AR-technology can be a very powerful tool in effective facility management.

Equipment components like sensors, controls, bearings and bearings wear down over time or can get disconfigured. With regular maintenance these mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems can last much longer. In order to maintain them adequately, detailed information is crucial.
